X-Files: Hostel Tour & Saturday Morning Introductions

I almost forgot I recorded my first hour in the hostel and our Saturday morning introduction session on Seesmic. So here it is, from the VlogEurope X-Files, uncut and the real deal:

Re: life is funny…in Budapestyay, live from Budapest

VlogEurope 2008 - Saturday morningWe’re doing introductions…

Apologies, Thank You and the Monaco Media Forum

So first, Raymond and I want to apologise for the security breach that made our site inaccessible for the past week or so. Someone thought it was a good idea to put a line of pop-up spam code in our database, and google did not like that. All is fixed, and we can assure you that you can browse safely.

The sad thing about this, is that we have been unable to publically say THANK YOU to everyone who came to Vlog Europe, who participated in the first annual Global Vlogger Flashmeeting and to Techsmith for its steadfast support.

So many contributed to the great weekend we had, but I do want to single out Joel Carner for his huge help in securing the Loft Hostel as our location. This was no small task, and I believe it is the one reason why this year’s Vlog Europe was the best ever.

We’ll continue updating you on happenings in the Vlogosphere throughout the year. I’ll start by putting up some posts about the Monaco Media Forum that I am attending this week. I was invited to represent all of us independent media makers, and I will do my best to let you know about the conversation and how I will be standing for independent media makers to take their rightful place at the global media table.

So stay tuned for more, and feel free to post more videos of the event!

More soon,

Jeffrey
